Jack Henry Lidstone (JHL) built the business around his family, passing the reins to his son John, who as Managing Director, is now joined by his own sons Jonathon and Damian. John's sister Pat Basker is also a Director of the firm, as is Company Surveyor Mike Bluett, who has been with Lidstones for 40 years.

Although the company has grown it is still run by the family as a family - with most employees staying with the company for many years. Over 90% of the 60-strong workforces have now been with the company for over 5 years - some for over 30 years. JHL have many staff who gained their indentures after serving apprenticeships with them decades ago, and Lidstone's commitment to quality is reflected in the fact that they still run their own apprenticeship scheme to ensure the high standards of the company are met and maintained.

All the company staff take pride in ensuring that each job is completed to the highest standards - on time and on budget. The firm's Contract Managers coordinate the efforts of all JHL staff and provide the bridge from concept to completion, with a commitment to customer satisfaction that is second to none. The dedication of the staff is without question - whatever it takes to complete the job to the required specification and within the requisite timescale - is what JHL staff will do.
